Sure enough I forgot everything in the car so I had to go back! Once I gathered everything I started running towards my house and of course the door was locked... My mom opened the door with the package in her hand laughing at me!

Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to GAS-O-LENA Part 2
A realistic dream will always come to true by the path you take to make your dream real.
I've always kept my dream in my head and the grade 9 "Career Day" reinforced my love for the job. Once grade 10 started I created a plan and a path that allowed me to graduate with the correct credentials. I spent many days and hours with my career councillor working on the correct steps. Sure enough 2 years later I graduated and was accepted to a post secondary institute. I'm a strong believer in the harder you work the more opportunities will be presented to you!
But while working at the hotel, I never felt like I was working at achieving my dream. Until Ronnie sent me an email about a job opening and I applied for my first Airline! I never told my boss at the hotel but she said " I have a feeling changes are coming your way." I asked her "are you firing me?" She said "no, I just feel something good is coming your way." Sure enough, 2 weeks later I left for my first airline.
I can remember my interview process because it started with my phone going off while we waited for the interviewers to call us. I believe it was an Usher song, we all know his lyrics can be a little sexual. Sure enough I was called and I'm 100% positively answered the typical answers:
1. I want to travel the world and treat the passengers as Royalty, O wait I mean as best as I can.
2. I want to bring elegance back into flying
3. I want to go to Paris and do some shopping...
4. Or how about this I love people and Travel too.
But hey they liked my answers and I went on to the second round of interviews.
The second round of interviews consisted of reviewing my resume while describing my accomplishment and future goals. Surprisingly I really enjoyed this phase because I was able to sell myself to the interviewers. Once we finished I got the "okay, thank you and we'll be in touch with you within the next few weeks!" I went home a little defeated and upset thinking I didn't get the job! Sure enough I got a phone call the next day and was asked to come in for the 3rd round of interviews. At this point I was scared shitless because this means I'm either in or not.
I remember sitting at the Fairmont Airport waiting room and totally confused on why I haven't been called in. Suddenly, my interviewers stormed in and apologized for being late due to the fact they we're shopping. Now I was sweating bullets and thought I was going to barf because I felt like I boomed my 3rd interview. Exactly 2 days later I came home from work and I received a phone call from Zoom Airlines and was offered the position. Between the screaming, yelling, jumping, hugging my mom and trying to talk I managed to get out a YES! I just had to pass my medical and the 5 weeks training program then I could be a flight attendant. Getting that phone call was one of the best days of my life! I really mean this!!!
I felt like everything I've been working for has come to life and my hard work has paid off. Until Aug 28, 2008 when I lost my job because my company declared bankruptcy. Now this was one of the worst days of my life! It was so bad that while I was stuck in Glasgow I hardly slept because of depression, stress and thoughts about how am I going to make it home. It was horrible because my dream job came to an end with a snap of a finger.

Rihanna Stay
STAY
This song has really hit the mark on how I've been feeling for the past month!
Check out the lyrics and also her Video!!!
All along it was a fever
A cold sweat hot-headed believer
I threw my hands in the air I said show me something
He said, if you dare come a little closer
Round and around and around and around we go
Ohhh now tell me now tell me now tell me now you know
Not really sure how to feel about it
Something in the way you move
Makes me feel like I can't live without you
It takes me all the way
I want you to stay
It's not much of a life you're living
It's not just something you take, it's given
Round and around and around and around we go
Ohhh now tell me now tell me now tell me now you know
Not really sure how to feel about it
Something in the way you move
Makes me feel like I can't live without you
It takes me all the way
I want you to stay
Ohhh the reason I hold on
Ohhh cause I need this hole gone
Funny you're the broken one but i'm the only one who needed saving
Cause when you never see the lights it's hard to know which one of us is caving
Not really sure how to feel about it
Something in the way you move
Makes me feel like I can't live without you
It takes me all the way
I want you to stay, stay
I want you to stay, ohhh

Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to GAS-O-LENA Part 1
It's funny but true!
A career always starts with a dream!
A realistic dream will always come to true by the path you take to make your dream real.
Achieving your dream will creates amazing memories that you'll never forget!
I'm going to talk about how I started my dream and career over the next few blogs! I'll end with what a flight attendant really does. I hope people enjoy and find some inspiration in what I'm sharing.
My dream started when I met one of my best friends mom. Elisia, was a flight attendant with Canadian regional and I remember seeing her leave for work and how elegant she looked. I can still picture her standing at the door in her uniform with her bags packed and ready to leave. I thought to myself wait you get to fly, be paid and see the world! I knew I wanted to be a FLIGHT ATTENDANT from that moment on.
At the age of 14 my other best friend mother took me to grade 9 career day. Nancy, worked for Air Canada and I'll never forget that day! On this day I learnt the difference between Airbus and Boeing! For people who don't know Airbus have the mini winglets and Boeing don't. I'm not talking about the massive winglets to reduce lift induced drag but they are smaller unless it's the Airbus A330. Take a peek at the photo below and it's show you the type of Airbus plane and the winglet.
Another memorable moment from that day was when I sat and helped tow a plane away from the gate. I was scared but it's amazing how small the car (pushback tractor or tug) is and how much it can push! I also recall meeting an airplane at the gate! As the plane came holy noise from the engines but It was so exciting... Once the door opened I remember the flight attendant saying "it was bumpy!" Nancy then looked down at me and said "you know it's bad when a flight attendant says it was bad." That has always stuck with me even to this day! If passengers see a flight attendant start freaking out they'll freak out! As that day came to an end I remember I was a little jealous that another grade 9 student actually got to fly Toronto to Vancouver to Toronto with his mother! I wanted to do that but hey I still had an amazing day!
This is when I created my Dream of being a flight attendant! My tourism teacher in grade 11 and 12 once asked me" what do you want to do in life?" and I said "I want to be a flight attendant!" Ironically enough I was in London and waiting for passengers to deplane guess who walks off the plane? my tourism teacher! He shook my hand and congratulated me for following my dreams. That was a special day because it made me feel like I've accomplished something!

HEDLEY ~ NEVER TO LATE ~ : - (
HEDLEY NEVER TO LATE
Hoping I can run today and get away faster
Than ever from here
Another night and who can say if leaving is better
Than living in fear
Here's to all the broken hearts tonight
Here's to all the "fall-a-parts" tonight
Here's to every girl and boy who lost their joy
They let it get away
You know it's never too late
Get up and start all over again
You know it's never too late
There's got to be a better way
Don't settle for the cold and rain
It's not too late to start again
Find a way to smile and never let it get away!
It's been too long and we've been down and out without laughter
No smiling just tears
We're tired of falling down and being such a disaster
We've been here for years
Here's to all the broken hearts tonight
Here's to all the "fall-a-parts" tonight
Here's to every girl and boy who lost their joy
They let it get away
You know it's never too late
Get up and start all over again
You know it's never too late
There's got to be a better way
Don't settle for the cold and rain
It's not too late to start again
Find a way to smile and never let it get away!
I'm gone, I'm gone, there's got to be a better way, I'm gone
I'm gone, I'm gone, there's got to be a better way, I'm gone
You know it's never too late
(I'm gone, I'm gone)
You know it's never too late
(I'm gone, I'm gone)
There's got to be a better way
(I'm gone, I'm gone)
OUCH
OUCH OUCH OUCH!
SO I've been busy with insanity and the gym! But boy o boy is my body soar! SO I've decided to take a day off and maybe hit the pool tonight! Did you know that swimming is an important exercise?
Physical Benefits
Swimming offers a variety of physical benefits for most people. For example, it strengthens muscles throughout your body, including your heart. Because it strengthens your heart, it boosts your body's ability to circulate blood and deliver oxygen. If you swim on a regular basis, you will lower your risk of getting cardiovascular disease, diabetes and some cancers. Swimming also helps develop muscular balance, builds physical endurance and can help the body maintain a healthy weight, according to Bucknell University.
Mental Health
Swimming can also offer mental health perks. Exercising in water is known to help elevate mood in men and women, and it can be particularly helpful for reducing anxiety and depression in people with fibromyalgia, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Water-based exercises are also known to improve the mental health of pregnant women and aid developmentally disabled children in bonding with their families.
I swim because it really helps my knee by reducing the stress on it. But lets face it swimming plans sometimes sucks! Of course we all know that I like to TALK! so swimming makes me feel lonley and not socialble! So how do I fix that? well thats easy I invite a friend to swim with me!!!
On a different note! when I was in Maui my friends and I would swim for 3 hours straight! Something about flippers, snorkles and goggles make it easier to swim and be out there for that long. I just love how theres so much to see on the ground and underwater.
I'm actually Planning another trip to Maui around Jan 19 to Jan 26th or maybe a little longer. I cant wait!

REMEMBER THE PAST
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
In Flanders fields.

Flight Director!
“Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” (Confucius)
During the last few weeks I've made a career mistake! My mistake was not applying and sending my paperwork in for Flight Director position with the airline I'm currently working for. I thought they wouldn't consider my application because I'm new, or that my french is horrible. So listen to me carefully.....
If you never try, put the effort, and do it then you'll never know. Whats the worst they can say? NO? they sure won't fire you but at least they know you're interested.
I sent an e-mail asking if they require anymore interested candidates but I have a feeling it's a little late. But I'm not going to give up as I'll apply next year! NEVER GIVE UP...
“The best way to predict the future is to create it.” (Abraham Lincoln)
Thank you to the dead president but its so true! Your future is dictated by how you create it! If you do drugs and have no job we'll that's your choice and you've created your future. If you go to school and become a doctor we'll again that's your choice and you've created your future.
So Remember how are you going to make money? we'll work for it! If you're working for it and it's not enough well study and find a better job! My ex Mark once told me find a job that pays you more. I think people have forgotten in North America that you need to work "HARD FOR THE MONEY". But money isn't everything its a small part of life but you're dreams are what keeps you thinking and wishing.
“Dreams are extremely important. You can’t do it unless you imagine it.” (George Lucas)
This quote fits in well with the Abraham Lincoln quote! Richard Branson had a dream and now look at it. He once said to some kids
“Try to do in life what interests you most. Don’t go down the path of ‘I can make a lot of money if I do this kind of job’.” ( Richard Branson)
This is so true, if you love what you do then that's your reward! I understand you can't pay things with love but everything will come! I love my Job and love the amazing conversations I have with my passengers. The fact I was able to get the passenger from point A to point B safely and with a smile is my reward!!
“If you can come up with an idea that will make a difference to other people’s lives, that is a business. To be a true entrepreneur, I think you’re going to fall flat on your face on many occasions. If you fail, pick yourself up and try again until you succeed - everybody needs a bit of good luck along the way.” (Richard Branson)
I want to end with a quote from Michael Jordan! He too has misses but its not the misses that counts its how you pick yourself back up. Once you're up, dust yourself off, and keeping chugging along. It's true even famous people fail but look where they are!
“I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.” (Michael Jordan)

FLIGHT
This movie was alright! In fact this movie touches a very very very touchy topic in the aviation industry and that's Drinking! Believe it or not your pilot might be drunk or nursing a hang over! Shocking but true! Majority of the airlines have stricked rules on this but sometimes this is over looked by people. I'm not saying all or this happens everyday but it can!
Anyways this movie shows the importants of why you should wear a seatbelt while flying. You never know when the plane starts into a nose dive or the plane drops of few thousand feet. Remember people wear your fucking seatbelt!!!!
I THINK I CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
"I Won't Give Up"
When I look into your eyes
It's like watching the night sky
Or a beautiful sunrise
There's so much they hold
And just like them old stars
I see that you've come so far
To be right where you are
How old is your soul?
I won't give up on us
Even if the skies get rough
I'm giving you all my love
I'm still looking up
And when you're needing your space
To do some navigating
I'll be here patiently waiting
To see what you find
'Cause even the stars they burn
Some even fall to the earth
We've got a lot to learn
God knows we're worth it
No: I won't give up
I don't wanna be someone who walks away so easily
I'm here to stay and make the difference that I can make
Our differences they do a lot to teach us how to use
The tools and gifts we got, yeah, we got a lot at stake
And in the end, you're still my friend at least we did intend
For us to work we didn't break, we didn't burn
We had to learn how to bend without the world caving in
I had to learn what I've got, and what I'm not, and who I am
I won't give up on us
Even if the skies get rough
I'm giving you all my love
I'm still looking up, still looking up.
I won't give up on us (no I'm not giving up)
God knows I'm tough enough (I am tough, I am loved)
We've got a lot to learn (we're alive, we are loved)
God knows we're worth it (and we're worth it)
I won't give up on us
Even if the skies get rough
I'm giving you all my love
I'm still looking up

T-36 days The recap of 27!
Well its T minus 36 days Until I'm no longer 27 years old!! God from 25 years of age to today the time has flown by so fast! This means 2 more years and my big 30!!!
Believe it or not I think I'm pretty much where I want to be in life right now minus the no boyfriend issue but that will come slowly. I want to take some time to reflect on my year because it been crazy!
My year started off with a dear friend of mine heading back to Australia due to a career opportunity. I secretly wish he never left because I miss him alot and he just added so much to my life. But lets be real he had to do what he did for his career so good on you Adam!!! I want to marry Adam one day!
right-e-o
During the time frame that Adam was leaving I applied for Air Transat which I didn't think much off! Don (my ex boyfriend) one day asked me what ever happened with your Air Transat application? I told him nothing, I guess I didn't get it because I haven't heard back! I also mentioned that I don't think I'll hear from them because I don't speak French. Creepy, but so true the next day at 8am my phone rings and it was Air Transat conducting a quick phone interview. I clearly passed the phone interview because of my experience and was asked to come in for a face to face. From the 7 hours interview process to a month long waiting game I finally passed all the step and was Hired...
March 25 2012 I left my Job at Cossette and entered the life of a flight attendant again. I was very lucky to have a great support system at home which always encouraged me to chase my dreams. Man on man does it feel amazing being in the skies again! I've always said to myself I want to work either as a flight attendant or do something with advertising! Clearly I've done both now!
I complete the training program in Montreal with a final mark of 99% which means I only got 3 questions wrong overall. This was a highlight for me because I worked hard and I wanted to do my best! The mark in the end wasn't the most important thing it was the new friends I've met. I would like to send out a special thanks to Emily, Nicole, Jason, Lucile, Angel, Sarah, Alexist, Ginger, Camila, Magumie, and everyone else who I've missed.
As the summer started I managed to make my way to Frankfurt, London, Manchester, Birmingham, Calgary, Toronto, and Vancouver. I love MY JOB!! In fact I love my job so much we made Nicole gather an air sample! That's right we tricked her! An Air sample is when the captain request a junior Flight attendant to walk down the isle and gather samples of the air with a plastic bag. She was such a great sport because the passengers laughed, the crew laughed and we have it on camera!
As our season ended sadly 650 of the Flight attendants across Canada we laid off. But that's okay I know exactly how everyone will feel when our call backs happen. Excited, cant wait to star flying and they'll have a new love for the job!
As Oct 10th arrived sadly my sweet Boyfriend left for LA which put our relationship on hold! It was hard to see him go but I understand why he left. I get to chase my dream of flying and he gets to chase his dream of directing and acting. Out of the 3 boyfriend I've had he has been the best! Very sweet, sexy, and we never fought which made it amazing. One day I have a feel we'll cross paths again and I'm going to keep him this time. Go chase your dream sexy!
By the way heart break sucks but I'm starting to see the bigger picture!
Now I'm sitting here and thinking what's next!!! Well I'm looking for a temporary job, I'm hoping for my leg to heal fast, and aiming to loose 20 to 25 pounds! Once the new year arrived I'm heading to LA for Lady gaga, A new tattoo and enjoy some sun! I'm missing my annual American Thanksgiving Hawaii Trip this year so I need sun or else!
Well that's my 27th year of being alive! I hope I'll win the lottery when I'm 28!
Always be my BABY!
I'm bringing Maraih back because she's so amazing! My sources say she doesn't smell like chicken and that she's really nice. Shocking eh!!! Thats not Mariah that I've read about!!! I bet that's more of her manager then her!
Long Long time ago Michael Buble's manager wasn't very nice and tried to get me in trouble for disturbing Michael in the middle of the night! But my reply was Honey I wasn't working at that time!
Also During the Olympics I performed with Michael Buble and I think his fame has gotten to his head a little.
Okay so Here is Always be my BABY!!!!
