Metabolism, Surgery, PINK Glitter In The Air

I've been reading and looking at how to loose my tummy fat! Everything I've read says is to keep eating, don't diet because you need the carbs to burn fat and switch from bagels white bread to milk, veggies and lots of protein. Anyways here's a part of men's health that mentions a few things in regards to speeding up your metabolism:

Don't Diet!

The Men's Health Diet isn't about eating less, it's about eating more—more nutrition-dense food, to crowd out the empty calories and keep you full all day. That's important, because restricting food will kill your metabolism. It makes your body think, "I'm starving here!" And your body responds by slowing your metabolic rate in order to hold on to existing energy stores. What's worse, if the food shortage (meaning your crash diet) continues, you'll begin burning muscle tissue, which just gives your enemy, visceral fat, a greater advantage.   ref http://www.active.com/fitness/Articles/15-Easy-Ways-to-Speed-Up-Your-Metabolism.htm   Also this is why breakfast is so important   Rev Up in the Morning

Eating breakfast jump-starts metabolism and keeps energy high all day. It's no accident that those who skip this meal are four and a half times as likely to be obese. And the heartier your first meal is, the better. In one study published by the American Journal of Epidemiology, volunteers who got 22 to 55 percent of their total calories at breakfast gained only 1.7 pounds on average over four years. Those who ate zero to 11 percent of their calories in the morning gained nearly 3 pounds.

Anyways I've also been researching exercises ever since I'm finally aloud to head to the gym! my focus is legs, knee flexibility, butt and core. Upper body will come after but my leg needs work so it becomes strong and flexible. I'm pretty sure everyone who has had an ACL surgery can agree with me that man getting your knee straight and bending is a bitch but it has to be done. It's been a month and a half since my surgery and I'm a few cm off from straight  with a120 degree bend. I think its good but my physiotherapist keeps telling me It needs to be better and o wait you're not the flexible.

I'll touch base on my knee exercises and surgery experience on a later note. Off to bed I go!

I'm leaving with the most amazing performance I have ever seen! well besides U2 at quest Feild!

This is pink at the 52nd annual Grammy Awards!
