There are a few things that make me happy in life and that's my bed, flying, eating sour keys, my family even though sometimes it seems like we yell all the time, and sharing amazing moments with someone you hold dear to you! What makes you happy?
I always say "hell you live once so go after what makes you happy!" Sometimes we fall, sometimes we win but as long as your learning and moving forward with life that's all that matters. I want to make sure that if I died tomorrow people would remember me as a sweet and kind hearted Person! I try to make the most of what I have and that right now isn't much! But hell I'm still healthy.
I've been busy with my studies and taking care of 2 great doggies named Urban (7 months old puppy) and Kire (8 years old). I'm going to miss the puppy tackles in the morning while I'm trying to sleep, or the bed hogging, and Kire snoring too. I can't wait to see the expression on Urbans face when he sees Mom and Dad! O right, remember to program in my phone to take the puppy out before they come home. I miss Bella....
Anyways this week is going to be crazy busy with meetings, lessons and exam! But can't say much until a later date!
I hope everyone has a great week! If you're not then smile it will get better!!!

Idol No More
I've been reading about the idle no more protests and I'm just so confused!
Aren't the natives to blame for the bill c-45 being created? If they're system isn't faulty then why do they have so many issues? I think native groups in Canada should start taking responsibility of their actions and instead of protesting they should start to plan. Imagine if we had protests to eliminate paying taxes and funding native bands! People would loose their shit!!!
I strong believe as a tax payer and native supporter that everyone should be audited! I mean audited in regards to making sure any government money is actually spent on projects which are funded by the government. I'm not sure why Native bands are exempt? And I feel that this has gone on for way to long! If the government gives you money then spend it on what you propose to do and if not then give it back! I'm just shocked how many millions of dollars can't be accounted for which have been allocated for housing and building improvements. Where did the money go?
"Angry native activists, fed up with poor living conditions they blame on decades of neglect from Ottawa, have blockaded rail lines and threatened to close Canada's borders with the United States in a campaign they call Idle No More."
This statement makes me angry on so many levels!
A. The poor living conditions are the fault of the band leaders and the people who aren't taking care of their place. The neglect isn't Ottawa's fault it's your fault!
B. what ever happened to getting a job and paying for your own upgrades and improvements which may I add are tax free. That's what us non natives do!
C. When is it okay to start blockading rail lines and borders! I would say to CN the trains do more damage.
D. Take responsibility for your actions and your property!!!
In my opinion, I feel that we give way to much to Native bands. With all the free education, resources, and government funding a native reserves shouldn't have issues like poverty, uneducated members, run down homes and no sources of income. Their are bands out there who actually are successful but it doesn't come easy and it sure doesn't just fall on your lap. It's called working!!!
I look at what the government provides and if us non native people had their education, housing and medical paid for plus more I'm sure we would be happy. I personally would go back to school and get my masters or doctors so I can give back and have a successful life. It's sad that money puts a hold on my education!
I think we should be protesting on equal racial rights but that's just me being silly! I think employers shouldn't have the rights to ask if you're Native or not! We should be equals! We're in 2013 not 1900 where yes we did owe an apology and assistance.
I support C-45 bill because its time for change! I think the real reason for the Idol No More protests is that they have been caught and this money issue will no longer be acceptable! I'd be protesting to if all of a sudden the government started regulating what I did with government money which in the end means I'll have to work!
I'm. It trying to offend anyone i'm just sharing what are my views!

NEW YEAR NEW FUN!
Isn't it funny how sometimes you forget how beautiful things are in your life!
The horrible rain has clouded the charm of BC which I was gracefully introduced to again this weekend!
I spent my weekend with 2 great friends where we mooned cars, almost died, bowling at BBB (Boston Bar Bowling), Drank all day, played in the snow, cooked and cross stitched! O yes, it was like -16 which had its pro's and of course its con's!
The Pro - the beer was cold all the time and ice started to form inside! AMAZING!!!!
The Con - my hair started to freeze when I took my hat off! BURRRRRR
Our journey started to Lytton on Friday at 10am which consisted of a Costco run, getting lost in Chilliwack looking for a liquor store, and mooning Richard while he was driving the second car. I have to say that mooning someone while the car is moving is A) Hard and I was unbalanced and B) a lot of fun!
I know what you're thinking and NO I wasn't driving, Cindy was! Funny thing when my pants were down I was slapping my ass thinking Richard could hear but Richard was driving the second car! Cindy was Laughing so hard that she was cry and Richard just didn't know what to say! O well If you have a nice ass then show it! Am I right? or am I right?
Once we past Hope it felt like we hit a winter wonderland! The mountains we're covered in snow and the rays of the sun hit the peeks which made the snow bright, sparkle, and just pure amazing! The trees looked very pretty in white, massive icicles on the rocks and it just made me feel like it's truly winter! AND NO RAIN!!!!
Exhausted from the trip we managed to arrive safely, unloaded, and prep for the next day! Let's just say my friends and I never have a dull moment! A tradition we have is to do a McDonalds run on route to the house! This never works out well for us because of what it does to our system! I'm not going to go into details but you can imagine! It involves a lot of giggle, window opening, Cindy GAGGING and "O GOD what the fuck is wrong with you?" (Man I can't stop laughing while I'm typing this)
As I mentioned before We almost died! Well, I think I'm being a little dramatic but thank god Richard was driving! It all started with the IDEA of 'LETS GO TO BINGO IN BOSTON BAR" Richard said. Of course Cindy and I looked at each other and started scream! Well, at 4pm we contacted the Boston Bar community center and they offered bowling or bingo bowling(WTF is bingo bowling?) so Bowling it was! We showered, dressed in our best, Cindy did her makeup which of course she always looks great and we got into the car to start our trip. Boston Bar isn't down the street it's an hour car ride and through the mountains! Like I said It was -16 and the roads we're covered in black ice! We managed to arrive there in one peace and bowling was AMAZING!!! We might have scared the Boston Bar Locals and O ya and I'm pretty sure a kid crapped his pants because one farted and it lingered big time!
Okay back on track
On route home we we're driving very slow down a hill and the truck decided start sliding sideways! It was scary for a second but Richard quickly turned the wheels and got the front of the car to face down the hill and not to the side... I'm pretty sure you could of heard a pin drop, that's how quiet we were and grateful we arrived at Richards house in one piece. Never the less I would do it again!!!
Finally as our weekend came to an end we packaged up and started our trek home... It made me appreciate the close friends I have and the province I live in. I hope the pipeline isn't approved because if BC has an oil spill then we'll really damage the beauty of our province. I can't wait for another weekend full of memories and excitement!
I'm off to bed until next time!!
